〰️ peace is here 〰️

helloooo fam! i'll be honest i haven't wanted to write anything about the coronavirus because it's another reminder of the worldly chaos that's going on. and i know our feeds are filled with this already. but today i want to write about peace. last week, when things started to really sink in for me about this virus, i got very anxious and nervous. i thought this world was going to end all of a sudden. i got very frustrated because i want to live, i want to grow up, i want to turn 18, get my licence, graduate, get married. i want to live longer.

then the next day i woke up and said "why am i scared? i was born to die. death is coming, it always was coming, and if God wants me to die right now, i will not try to live longer because i know that it's His Will." this gave me such peace. i want to be peaceful in everything thing i do, including dying. i've been doing a St. Joseph consecration and i get fully consecrated on thursday! i'm so excited! he had the most peaceful death any person can have because he died in the arms of Mama Mary and Jesus. WHAT A GIFT! i want to die in their arms too. it's important to pray for a happy death like St. Joseph!

it's really hard to be peaceful with everything going on right now. but i totally recommend adoration and daily mass. and i know that right now this is a touchy subject because of the coronavirus. this horrible virus has caused so many churches to close down, leaving many Catholics heartbroken. i couldn't imagine how they must all be feeling! our parish hasn't closed down and in my community we still have daily mass. i'm so thankful that Jesus is still with us. but as i was saying, adoration is a perfect place to reconnect with Jesus and just rest in His Spirit. i go to adoration at least 3-4 times a week. what amazing healing happens in that little chapel! and if you can't make it, i recently found out that many churches live stream on youtube adoration from their chapels!? whaaaaaat!!??! how amazing is that!? i totally encourage you to try it sometime. and definitely put worship music in the background! whoa! what an experience. make sure to watch out for my next post, it's about my top christian bops!

i hope that today i gave you a new perspective on how you can look at our chaotic world right now. and i totally encourage you to help someone in their time of need. i've been seeing pictures and hearing stories of elderly people not being able to stock up on food or buy anything because the healthy people are getting there first! please please please, if you see an elderly person shopping, help them get what they need before your needs. God will always bless you for helping others! this is your challenge for the week!

thanks for reading!
until next time!
also just want to flex on how awesome my uncle is lol! here is his post and i'm pretty sure i inspired him to start writing deep stuff! so here ya gooooo!
