confirmation 2019

hey y'all!  it's been a year?! so i found this in the bottom of my drafted posts. i can't believe i didn't upload this sooner!

 March 24 2019 was a pretty important day for me! it was my confirmation! it was so awesome to become an adult in the church with all my friends. i will definitely have pictures at the bottom of this post. 

the archbishop was really nice & really funny. i had been a nervous/stress wreak for about a week. i was so afraid of messing up my question that i drilled myself for weeks with the cheat sheet we were given. honestly everything went so smooth, except for when we were taking our big group picture. the fire alarms went off and my friend said "well, the Holy Spirit just arrived." other than that everything was perfect!

i want to thank everyone who made the day so wonderful! especially my grandma who flew all the way from Florida. and also to my amazing sponsor, Corazon! she was hyping me up the whole time and telling me to not worry that everything would be okay. and it was! we  squeezed each other's hands when the archbishop was talking to me. she's the sweetest! 

the question the archbishop asked me was "what is one thing you know about your saint?" 

(which was Padre Pio) i said "he had the stigmata" the stigmata is the wounds of Jesus, on His hands, feet and side. Padre Pio also felt the same pain as Jesus and the pain got even worse on Fridays. 

i have always felt connected to him and he has always been my saint, so it was so cool receiving the Holy Spirit with him by my side. i know for a fact he was there with me.
