ranting about relationships

hellooooo fam! how ya doing?! i'm doing great! in today's post i'm going to be ranting about relationships. oh boy! here we go!!!! i'm surrounded with friends who are dating. do i feel left out? yeah, sometimes. but i remind myself that dating right now should not be occupying my time because there are a lot of things i have to put first. God, my family & friends, life teen, school, just living life in the present.

and sometimes its hard to keep this mentality, you get discouraged, feel left out and feel like you don't fit in. 

teens these days are just hurting and bruising their hearts for no reason. if you want to be with someone you have to start cultivating a friendship before you have a relationship. get to know them as a friend before you know them as a boyfriend/girlfriend. time is everything. i'd rather be friends with someone for a long time then date them. rather than meet and start dating right after. i want to have memories with someone prior to our relationship. being single doesn't mean you're weak, it means you're strong enough to wait for what you deserve. 

the thing you're waiting and praying for may be closer than you think! don't give up! 

waiting is a sign of true love and patience. anyone can say i love you, but not everyone can wait and prove it's true.

one of the happiest moments in life is when you find the courage to let go and let God find your special person for you. when you let God, the weight comes off your shoulders and you feel free. when you let go, you start living God's plan.

choose yourself. choose what is best for your heart. and the right people will come. the love that you deserve, will stay. in our waiting, God is working. 

why are you hurting yourself? why are you wasting your time? focus on your priorities right now and let God lead your heart. He knows what you need and He will do what's best for you. He will give you bigger and better things you never thought were possible. always remember God will never take anything away from you without the intention of replacing it with something much bigger and better. 

someday i will marry the right person with the right reason and with God's permission.

no matter how long it takes, when God works, it's always worth the wait.

YOU ARE WORTHY OF TRUE LOVE! YOU ARE ENOUGH! MOVE ON! DON'T TRY TO BE SOMEONE YOUR NOT! BE YOU! BELIEVE IN YOURSELF! 

when i am weak He is strong. when i fall He picks me up. when i can't do it alone He helps me.
