STEUBIE DOOBY DO 2019

hello fam!!!! i cannot wait to share with y'all my experience at Steubie ATL this weekend! let me just say i'm still in shock that there were so many catholic teens together in one place. it's like i can relate to these people, they're my age and we're catholic! i'm so happy i went and was opened to whatever God wanted to give or say to me. 

adoration was so intense! okay so here's the thing, we have a color (our color was red) and our seats change everyday, so for adoration we were able to sit in the front row. Jesus was right there in front of us. it was so beautiful! usually i can control my tears but that night i honestly couldn't, i just let it all go. i've never felt the way i felt that night. the music, the atmosphere, the people, everything. it was so perfect. i felt peace and for the first time ever, i really felt God's presence. like He was there right next to me. y'all i felt God! i felt my Father! i felt Him there next to me! it was so incredible and i don't know how else to explain it.

moving right along, the talks were so amazing. the speakers were amazing. the songs were amazing! everything was so amazing! my favorite part was really feeling in community with so many catholics. like they live all over, but there was a feeling of community and togetherness that was so awesome.

the topic for this year was BELONG. 

here are a few questions to ask yourself:

• where do i BELONG? and who do i BELONG too?

• where do i fit in?

i wrote down these questions so that i could think about them and answer them truthfully. so take a moment and think about those questions. maybe you don't know where you BELONG or where you fit in. pray about it, ask God to reveal to you where you need to be and where you BELONG.

i totally recommend going to a Steubie conference! it is so worth it. if your parish isn't going, go with another parish. make new friends and get out there! i promise you won't regret it!
