☆ a positive state of mind ☆
our 2019 started on the wrong foot. why you may ask? well we got the stomach virus, except for Abuela and Mike. i had all these goals i wanted to start on the 1st of January but it didn't turn out the way i planned. but that's okay because being positive is key. my word for this year is POSITIVITY. i want to set goals and be positive about them because in all honesty i'm not such a positive person.
here are a few of my personal goals:
~ have a positive state of mind
~ care more about my hygiene
~ be more organized
~ take more risks
~ keeping better track of school
pinterest has a lot of helpful daily, weekly and monthly charts to help you stay on top of you goals. i've been using a daily template for the past few days. it has really helped me focus on what i need to accomplish that day. i'll link it below.
i think if you make a list of things you want to accomplish this year and try your hardest to make them happen, they will happen. for example, if you want to take a big road trip around the country but you don't have a lot of money saved up, start saving. that can be a goal for this year. you save a certain amount and in 2020 you take your trip. after saving that money for a whole year it really makes you appreciate the trip even more.
i have a few things that i'd like to do this year. they aren't really goals but fun activities i want to do:
~ go on the spring retreat
~ go on the Steubenville retreat
~ go camping on the Georgia coast
~ go roller skating
are there any exciting dates coming in 2019? i have a few that i'm very excited about!
~ going on a cruise to the Bahamas
~ getting confirmed
~ getting my drivers license
~ start my first part time job
~ going to the Twenty One Pilot concert
