☆ what a weekend! ☆

hey y'all! i'm so excited to tell y'all about this weekend! let me just start with telling you how tired and sore i am. my legs hurt. my arms hurt. everything hurts! and i went to bed around 1am every night. so yeah, you could tell it was a pretty good weekend that i didn't want to end!

my uncle, cousins and grandma surprised us and spent the weekend here. i am so happy i got to spend time with them! i already missed them so much! i felt like Dominic and i really connected this weekend, i'm really happy that i'm getting to know him better! see you guys again in 16 days! one of my favorite memories with the kids was on sunday. we had a cupcake fight in our kitchen, right after my mom had just swept and mopped. i was really fun! there was blue icing everywhere.

maryfest was also so fun! it was really hot, but we swam in the pool and lake. and Mrs. Alexa bought misters, so we got a little wet with those too. my favorite memory of maryfest was when we had a noodle fight with our closest friends in the field. i got hit in the face a bunch of times lol. it was great just to be with them. 

one of the nights my friends and i went to the dock and light firecrackers and sparklers. i lit one and i didn't know what it did so i ran. it turned out that it was a colorful firecracker that spins. throwback to when my uncle threw one under my chair on new years many years ago and made me cry. it was pretty cool! we had a blast with those!
